Blog Update and Approaching Youth in Open Anthropology

Posted by / Blogs

Been doing some significant blog maintenance, trying to make the site look more like Anthropology 2.015. Finally updated the big list of Anthropology Blogs 2015. Please let me know if you see any additions, changes, or corrections. Next up, working on the What is Anthropology? section, which is now the home page. Please let me know what you would like to see there.

Over at Open Anthropology, Sallie Han and I have just posted an issue titled “Approaching Youth in Anthropology” which got a good Facebook plug from the American Anthropological Association:

The new issue of Open Anthropology is now available! The latest issue, “Approaching Youth in Anthropology,” brings together articles and book reviews that explore global issues facing young people including race, gender, sexuality, political engagement, economic and educational opportunities (or the lack thereof) and more.

Also, until September 2015 you can still download the articles from the previous issue, Hello Anthropocene: Climate Change and Anthropology, and thanks again to Sean Seary for his work on Annual Review of Anthropology, Climate Change, Anthropocene.
